Default Getting outbid -eBay

... there is nothing more irritating than loosing out by the next increment ...

for example ... I bid say £32 on something, and someone wins it for £33 ...

I don't feel bad if I bid £32 and the item finally goes for £64 or summin ... but to the next increment piddles me off ... I console myself by saying they probably put a much bigger bid on, but the cold fact is that they got it for the next increment!!! it is especially annoying if you hung about to do a 'last minute' bid!!

Can people please stop bidding on things I want !!

Ha ha. I go a system that works for me. I don't use bidding tools, but I still don't LOOSE very often!

i hate it when it says bid £23.50......... so you do, but it tells you then you need to bid £25.60 so you do.......... but then you still get out bid so it tells you to bid again

why not just tell me what to bid in the 1st place

Ha ha - good video!

I find the Completed Listings search option is very handy for establishing a guide price, which I then just shove in as my bid. If someone wants to rip themselves off by paying more then that's up to them.

Just bid once and bid last minute with the top amount you'd be happy to win for. If you don't win, it was too much for you and don't sweat it. You'll often get it for far less than your top bid.

Bidding in the days/hours before the end only serves the seller and eBay, it's bad for the buyer. You don't want to give other buyers the chance to think about your higher amount, and that's without getting into competitive bidding wars.

I use 3 or more incremental bids in the last 10-15 seconds or less so that other bidders end up with what happens to Hovis, last bid is my highest that I'd be happy to pay. Means even if a bidding war happens, it's only the ones who pay too much that beat me!
