Default AR07: Progress Report:

Had a blast up yesterday evening. Weather sunny. Quiet a lot turned up. Dizzy Blonde? had hit a deer on way across. Luckily had stopped on bike, think I saw remains of it on way, quiet a mess! Good to meet people in person. Stopped till about 20:30 then rode back home. Lot better ride roads fairly clear. Started raining about 09:00 in Harrogate. Probably have a ride back up this afternoon after Moto GP Camp site looked O/K.

Ouch - at least it seems that everything is Ok and rideable.

Cool to know a little about how things are turning out up there - thanks for letting us know.

for all those who would like to know what it feels like to hit a deer at 60mph, this is the nearest way of describing it

Dizzy's bike post deer incident, not sure which is worse hitting it or being covered in the spray.
