My 01 curvy arrives later today (Homer: Wahoo!), that's something i want too, but arent't the indicators all part of that unit?
I would love it to look like this.... http://www.whaccessories.com/GordonSV650Tail.jpg http://www.whaccessories.com/METUnde...aySV650-02.jpg I'm a bit confused, will have to examine my bike a bit further when it finally gets here! |

Quiff made his own, from a template he got from somewhere as did Cuffy.
Have a search I'm sure the threads about how to do it are still out there somewhere.

That's really good, but a bit DIY'ish, if you mess up then...!?
I can't believe no-one manufactures one for a straight swap! If you got hold of "80 quid undertray from powerbronze" that is just the undertray above the wheel presumably so what indicators and numberplate mounting do you use? |

The other thing to try if you can get hold of one is one of these
http://www.tcpsa.com/suzuki/sv650sc.htm This is / was the official Suzuki OEM part for the curvey undertray it re-uses all the orginal fitting ( number plate light, number plate bracket etc ) and you can bolt your original indicators or mini ones to it. They are a bit rare so I dont know how easy it'll be to find one. I've got one on my bike, its a good piece of kit and you dont loose your underseat storage like some of the other undertrays do.

This was all i could find on eBay...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNDERTAIL-unde...ayphotohosting Although i cannot see on the white plastic the two little holes on the picture of what it looks like fitted so hmm!? Presumably this would be where the indicator/plate fitting would be attatched but where would one of these be acquired from? I could not find one on eBay, the sort of thing would be that similar to what was used on the DIY site linked to earlier i think. Any recommendations? |
