Best thing to use is something silicone based lube or even a squirt of Furniture polish will sort it out.

What sort of boots ?

they all do that Sir

A quick squirt on the armoured bits with wd40 or even a dab of vaseline will cure things - until it rains again

Got those....done that.

Good ol' "Back to Black" squirted into the articulated plastic "Exoskeleton" parts. Cured mine easy enough. Good boots those.

Don't use KY Jelly, or your dad will find it and ask what the hell you've bought it for and why you keep it hidden in your garage. You will of course go bright red and start spluttering about stopping your boots from squeaking while your dad rips the p!ss something rotten.

My daughter will back me up on this.
