Default Curvey seat...

Probably me being a dumbass, but how does the front seat on a curvey attach to the bike?

Obviously the key lock operates the rear seat, but does the front seat just bolt in place?

remove the 2 black side panels, then there is a bolt each side

you will need 2 allen keys not sure of the size

Ah right.

When I got the bike, both these panels were hanging by the ir upper bolts, so I'll grab a couple of stainless bolts from my collection and bolt it in.

Cheers Hovis!

Technically you don't need remove the panels. Just undo the allen bolt and hinge them gently backwards to allow access to the seat bolt. If you do wish to totally remove the panels then the Suzuki plastic "rivet" needs removing. To remove these, push the small inner pin through the rivet and then pull the rivet free.

If you are using none OEM bolts be aware that they have a step in them to stop breaking the panel if you tighten them up too tight which you won't have on a standard bolt.

The trim clips (plastic rivets) may well be long gone anyway.

I lost the black plastic rivet things the first week I got the bike (sept 06). Never replaced them. Seemed a bit pointless to me.
