Default An afternoon of paperwork

First of all I wrote the method statement, followed by the health and safety risk assessment and the operational risk assessment. I get all 3 signed off by the general manager, and file them in the office. The electronic copies are then incorperated into Q-Pulse. Since Q-pulse cant access the intranet, copies of all 3 are then copied to the central server, which can be accessed by the facility interrupt system. I write a facility interrupt, which then will email all affected parties for approval. Once all the receipts for approval are in, I can write a memo into the electonic briefing system to remind everyone the task is going ahead.

So what am I up to? I'm changing a light bulb on a mast. seriously.

A darn sight less than the health and safety paperwork these days, personally I just do the job needed then file the paperwork when i have time if I cant get away with forgetting the job was done. However that secured ladder (read small table I pulled over from the wall) and assistant for securing and steadying( read the stupid gitn i got to hold the new bulb whilst I took out the old one and held the old one whilst I fitted the new one) Then went to the waste management system to dipose of said object (read threw the knackered one in the bin) Filled in form e30 to replace the bulb into stores (read as we're on shifts and no one else is nick one from another department) and all is rosy in the house.
No paper work, bulb works and noone knows any better unless something goes wrong when the paperwork is filled in after the event.

That is classic! What a load of nonsense, but it did give me and my colleagues a laugh, so cheers for posting it!
