Default bolt thread sizes ??

hi there peeps!

just was wondering if anyone knows the thread widths for the following bolts as i want to replace them with stainless steel shiney ones. It looks like there is a 7 on the fork bolt heads, does this mean 7mm thread? as all the bolts ive seen are 6 or 8mm.

fork lower clamp bolts x4 (hex flanged head)
fork pinch bolts x2 (hex flanged head)
front calliper holder bolts x4 (hex flanged head)
rear calliper holder bolts x2 (hex flanged head)
rear calliper bolts x2 (allen head)

thanks guys

You might want to specify what type of SV you have.

ON A CURVY:

The bottomyoke bolts are all M8, as are (is) the spindle clampers. I think thats the ones you mean?

The caliper ones on the front and back are M10, and the rear holder ones are M8 - but someone will be along to remind you these are stressed items and Stainless is not the right thing to use! (You knew that, right?, lol)

Be careful you get the pitch right too! Check 'em before ordering.

yeah, i guessed as much. You have two spindle clamp bolts - (i know most) later stuff has just the one.

If I remember correctly the calipers (Can't remember if it is front or back use a 10mm fine pitch that is damm difficult to source. I would suggest hyperbolt as I know my local fastener supplier couldn't get them inn the small quantity I wanted.
