dude someone offered you a restricted ecu a few weeks ago when you first asked and i did say i could get it restricted for you and a letter on headed paper saying that it had been fitted with a restricted ecu for your insurance company!! i cant remember who had the ecu now!! anyone got one for this young man? so we can get him sorted.

yes i was offered one but i was also told it has to be a suzuki dealer and officially done so i just want to give sum one some money and they give me a new fitted restrictor and a piece of paper saying theve done it. the laws aint helping nether if they said who needs to do it would be easier.

Load of mince mate (having said that, your insurance company might want it done that way but even if it wasn't and the bike is 33bhp, you're still legal). Take anything you read on the internet with a big fat pinch of salt. In particular with regards to 33bhp laws. Do your own investigative work and you'll find out what is 'legally' required.

If it was the ins company saying that, I'd simply change insurer. Either that or ask if a dyno print out is acceptable.
