Default Cost of resrictor removal

Ive just bought plowsies bike and need to remove the resrictor, I rang millenium in St Helens and have been quoted £150 plus vat which equates to 3 hrs labour plus vat, seems a lot to me, or is that about right ?. Millenium do have a rep for being pricey, but £50 an hour labour does seem a bit steep IMHO any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers
Stew

Like i say mate i looked around in Northampton on the last day with her to get an idea and they were wanting £40-£50 for removal. Incidently it costs £150 for a new kit to buy without fitting.

Do it yourself? Is it washers or slides? Couldn't you just take them out that bike and put them in plowsies new one? Would be cheaper all round.

If you just loosen your carbs from the cylinders, you should be able to see if there are any washers in there.
