OK All,

Its been mental in the Balfour household the last few weeks but things have settled back into some sort of routine now.

Was looking at doing another runout on Sunday 19th August. Sorry midweek junkies but its just not viable with football, cricket, kids etc to do a midweeker at present.

Route TBC but it will be gentle, slightly longer than last time out though probably.

Meet 11am MaccieD's just outside Ripon.

Same as before, I will be there, anyone who wants to come along is more than welcome....

Once a route has been established I will update post.

Hope to see some of you there.

B6265 Ripon to Grassington
B6160 Grassington to Aysgarth
A684 Aysgarth to Leyburn
A6108 Leyburn to Ripon

The B6160 goes right through the middle of the Dales and the A6108 is the same route we took last time only in reverse.

Again I emphasise that if you want to get your knee down this ride isnt for you. No-one gets left behind, someone always stays with any newer riders but if you want to get your tyres warm then thats fine as long as you wait for everyone to catch up at various points. I can't promise a marshalling system like the AE though!

Helmets off in Grassington and then again in Leyburn probably.

Hope to see some of you there.

If I do manage to get to this, Jamaxx could we ride to Ripon together? I know I've been there before, but I KNOW I'd get lost on my own

I'd be up for it if it wasn't for work, I'm in all weekend.

I considered asking for the day off, BUT, I've been off yesterday & today with CONJUCTIVITIS, (eyes all puffy and swollen etc), eye drops now doing the job and should be back to work tomorrow, I think if I walked in and said "OH, BY THE WAY CAN I TAKE SATURDAY OFF", I would have 2 hopes, one of which is called BOB, plays golf and died a couple of years back.
