Best place to sell bikes?

I was just wondering where people have had the best experience with selling thier bike? The reason I ask is, I've tried on the forum, I've tried all the free papers, I've tried ebay, a similar bike has been on autotrader for 8 weeks, and I have been told I don't have a chance on selling in MCN unless I'm in london. So I'm out of ideas.

dunno? when ever i have sold an offroad bike, i have always gone with the adtradder papper,

which i have also put the SV in & put it on here.

my next try is ebay (thursday night, so it goes on for 2 weekends

eBay classifieds are excellent. You get 28 days for about £20 I think. It's not an auction, just an ad for the price you want and you'll come up in all the searches then. You can put in lots of photos to show off your bike and a good long description.

why £2000 & no reserve as you will have to sell it

yeah, its just the rain. I thought £2000 was quite low for an 06 bike, and I know a lot of people don't bother bidding if an item has a reserve, dunno why, but things always seem to go for more with no reserve.

i thought autotrader was good, i sold my 50cc on there within 2 day of it being on there, but im more central in the uk

I know it's a bit more cash.. have you thought about Bike Trader? Thats where all 3 of mine were found, If someone likes what they see they will travel for it.. 690 mile round trip for one o them
