How do people manage to find out when someone else's birthday is?

It lists "today's birthdays" on the front index of the forum (near the bottom of the page).

If you put your birthday information into your profile, the forum puts up that it is your birthday on the front index page as Sarah said. It is up to you to add that information.
Age is optional....
