help! i need somewhere to live.

thats it! i have had enough! does anyone have a room they wanted to rent out to a nice australian girl who is clean and tidy, doesn't smoke, and pays rent and bills on time without whinging? and possibly has somewhere near them a bike can live?

i cannot stand the filth that is my current house.

i am hoping for somewhere north londonish around camden, as that is my favorite stomping ground, but by god, i cannot reside in this hell hole any longer. i will take anywhere in zone 1 or 2.

the mice and rats are ok. the floors that slope at an alarming angle are fine once you are used to it. the smell in the kitchen goes away when you've gotten used to it. the urine all over the bathroom takes some courage to clean, when its never mine, but i now draw the line at throwing out my mail cause you don't know what my name is and the glass all through the house cause you are too lazy to vacume is not cool. and i'm getting kind of sick of the sick on my front door from the abbey patrons who have enjoyed their night a little too much.

so anyone got a room for rent or know someone who does? i'm reluctant to go on gumtree. last time i did that, some strange indian bloke tried to be extra nice to me.


and i am inherently lazy, so if i can find somewhere without the effort of ringing strangers, even better.

Have you tried TNT magazine? Free from those metal boxes outside some tubes stations and full of ads for houseshares/rooms and mainly aussies/kiwis/SA's on their travels.

you know, if i didn't have this job, i would consider it. i loved the roads through wales when i was there, and i want to go back now i have decent tyres.
