Default Help!

I need a good quality pair of waterproof textile trousers... only trouble is, I'm only 5ft short, and I'm approx a size 14-16 I guess... Where do I start looking for short-leg larger sized ladies clothing? Every place I've been (Hein Gericke, J&S, Infinity and JTS) only stocks standard leg lengths.

I thought about ordering from JTS, but you have to pay for returns, and it could work out pretty costly.

Why not go for some lightweight over trousers instead - get down to your local camping shop (like Blacks or Millets etc) and see what they have got. I found mine in the kids section (shortar$e too y'see) which was waaaay cheaper as you don't pay VAT on kids clothes!

go to "wicks" they have bright yellow reflective water proof trousers....
ok so they are made of plastic...
but they retail at @£10:00
and they are 100 % water proof..........!!!!!!!!!
and it may well keep the cold out..
and keep what your wearing normally on underneath...

so u can cut it to your leg size....

great in night time ride also........and shove under the seat when not in use.

I've got some GREAT waterproof trousers, but they are all in standard leg length, so I have to bunch them round my KNEES or they'll just trip me up or get caught on the pegs! Also, it's not really the waterproofing that's the vital part, it's the warmth. The leather trousers I have are Wolf Race leathers and are all vented and part stretch-fabric on the inside of the thighs... They're lovely in the summer, but draughty and cold in this weather. I needs some textiles for the warmth!

But thanks for the reply mate!

Lol... If I cut to my size, then 50% of the fabric I paid for will go in the bin! Or perhaps I can make sleeve warmers!?

Cheers matey! As a last resort (which this looks like it's gonna be) that's a good idea.

Have you looked at spada? I have some spada podium trousers which are very good, and very warm. There might be a size for you, but I dont know?
