Default Michelin Pilot Sport's

I've got these on the Hornet I bought. The guy put them on to sell it and got them for £139 from Busters.

I've now ridden in all the conditions on them and I have to say I'm impressed! Especially with their wet weather performance.

I initially rode the bike on soaked roads after the last snows and the tyres were superb on roads running with water.

Since then, I've been out in the dry and they are as sporty as you'd ever need on the road. Down to less than 3mm chicken strips on cold salt roads.

Today we had a mixture of everything from mud, rivers running across the road, greasy salt and dry roads and they were excellent on them all.
Riding two up in the wet I found I could push it to about 80+% of what I can do in the summer, which is quite incredible in the wet, in the middle of winter!

Feedback was excellent and you could tell exactly when they were getting unhappy but I had to push really hard just to get them to this point. They were exceptionally stable once cranked over.

They took about 4 miles to warm up. Turn in is neutral, maybe slightly slow but this could be due to the 180 rear on the hornet. With a 160 for the Sv it should be quicker.

Trail braking into corners didn't upset them and getting on the power early didn't upset them. I'd say they were Equally as good if not better than the Conti Road Attacks in the wet and this is great from a "more sporty" tyre.

As an older tyre on special offer, They were excellent. I'd buy them again at that price.

Just a few thoughts, hopfully helpful to someone.

Cheers,
Carl
