Default Anyone recommend some leather trousers?

I'm after some leather track pants. Ideally black or the odd bit of grey is ok and must have knee sliders..

Tried the Alpinestars but they are very close fitting. Not sure I could wear them all day. The Hein Gericke PSX2 ones were good but £180! Hmmmm..

Gonna try and pick some up on ebay for £100 or less if I can't buy new for £150 max.

Cheers, Nick

Nick, I recently bought a 2 piece Teknic suit from TW Motorcycles in Kidlington for £200.
It was brand new and they were doing Teknic stuff at half price. Not sure if the deal is still on but give them a go and see what they have.
Here is the suit I bought.

Get the close fitting ones - leather will stretch, so just wear them around the house for a few days to get them to fit.

Will help avoid "Baggy Ar$e" syndrome.

I know it's a matter of perception, but £180 for a 'good' pair of leather trousers doesn't seem terribly expensive to me - my Wolf ones cost £250 - but then they were virtually made-to-measure (they combined 2 halves of separate patterns that happened to be right for me - the advantage of them being made in the shop where I was shopping).

Also, bear in mind that for track purposes I believe that 2 piece leathers must normally have an 'all-round' zip as opposed to just a short zip at the rear. For this reason alone FGO's suggestion of a reasonably priced suit may be the way to go

Supervox, my suit does indeed have a full length zip.
I have to admit that I have tried a few suits and this seems to be the one that fits me the best so far. Sleeve length spot on, waist spot on, inside leg spot on, infact for the money I would very highly recomend this suit.

Cheers for the replies..

I see your point about buying a complete suit but I don't have the funds for that at the moment. I've found a pair of Alpinestars on ebay which he wants £100 for and they have only been worn a few times but in new condition. They may have loosened up a little and if they haven't i'll wear em around the house! I can get a jacket to match when I have the cash..

I've got those Alpinestars trousers, they were really tight fit to start with, but dont give up with them, they do stretch and mould to your body shape. I can wear mine all day and they are really comfy now.

We've found the economisng and buying cheap stuff is a false economy as the leather stretches and then they dont fit hence you have to buy another pair, which costs the same amount of money as a decent pair would have done in the first place.

My other halfs frank thomas leather trousers have stretched and are really baggy, my alpinestars ones are still as good a fit as they were on the day I bought them...
