yea, thats my bog standard route. Seems to be more police on it nowadays though.

It's actually very rare I go that way in the morning, only if I need petrol while I'm on the way into work, while coming from the g/fs.

You don't use your bike at the weekends!?! Shocking...

Btw... the most likely reason for there being loads of police on that route (or at least down Welford Road) is that there's a police station half way down.
