Default Another helmet cam option.

Just saw this on another forum, thought I'd pass it on here, this is basically the best way into bike-mount camera I've seen

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=221864

I've got one of these Aipteks, I got it to replace the JXD we killed on the Glencoe Massacre- it's a nice wee unit, time will tell how well it works and for how long but it's far more solid than the JXD was. And it's all in english too! The camera's not amazing, but it's £100 to get you going and very upgradable too. So, much better option than the ATCs etc.

Nah, I've not actually used that exact kit myself- I got the recorded from a different source, but I need to get my camera back to test it out. But here's a clip someone else did

He's got a bit of a flappy mount there, I think it's just velcro'd to his helmet which never really works. But it's still better than an ATC Don't get me wrong, this is not an awesome professional rig, but it's very cheap for what you get.

Nice find

But I don't think it really 'cuts it'

Don't forget to watch in HQ mode

Can anyone find the spec of the bullet cam part?

The unit is a DV8900 apparently ..

That video you've posted there looks like he was having camera or mounting problems... The amount of vibrations is miles worse than the other one, even though it's a smoother surface.

Um. I think it's possible they've sold out! It was in the sale, now the link just goes to the general sale link.
