Default Hello, it's me again!..

Hello Everyone

Sorry it's been so long since i've been on the forums.
My computer messed up again and during that time I finaly passed my test on the 3rd attempt with four minors, so didn't have any money left to fix my computer.
Well, I did have money to fix my computer sooner, but spent it on petrol and insurance.
Oh, and some chain lube :P

So, during that time i've been 'playing out' on my SV and getting used to the bike in general and having a tinker and polish etc.

I was far from ecstatic when I passed my test just relieved I guess.
All I did when the examiner told me i'd passed was put my head in my hands and say "oh thankyou.." A bit like how Rowan Atkinson said it in that old 'Give Blood' commercial when he had to get blood out of that stone, anyway....
But now its starting to sink in properly what I've acomplished and I feel happy and content

Two years ago I said to my mate "I'm getting a bike" (after a 15 year-ish gap of me not owning a bike, the last one was a DT125R and it got nicked).
So, In the last two years i'ved saved and re-saved, applied for a provisional license, bought clothing/locks etc, bought a lovley sv, did my theory test, CBT, did/failed DAS, did more training, failed again, some more training and finaly I passed!
I just feel a nice feeling of accomplishment, y'know?!

No more cost of training and test fees, no more nagging about lifesavers from my instructor, no more pre-test stress and nerves.
All done and dusted!

For the first half a year of saving my money I was gonna get a Bandit but decided on an SV650, why?!.....

This forum, nothing more.
Hadn't even heard of an SV 650 until I stumbled upon the .Org

A small picture of my generic 2003 silver SV with twin outlet oval CCC can, downpipe is polished now though

Cheers all!

I was just wondering what had happened to you.
Congratulations on passing, though you will keep up with the lifesavers even without the instructor to nag, won't you ?

...and can I just point out that the Union Flag is upside down in that avatar. You, of all people, should know that.

Unless you're trying to do the old naval trick of telling us that there's pirates aboard your ship?
