Having worked in many bars, I can say the chance of it being line cleaner are slim to none, unless it is a proper nasty pub.

Its more likely to be dishwasher fluid, a glass not rinsed properly etc. In either case, shouldn't do you any harm.

It was a very strange one. Even the daughter who had not been out with us complained of a burning in her throat during the night.

I was drinking cask ale
The wife was drinking bottled Magners and then 2 cups of coffee

Dinner had been early in the evening and the only spice was a twist of the pepper mill. Was it simply hysteria?. I had a burning sensation in the throat and everyone else in the house got on board?.

I was worried. But, as you can now see by the fact I am posting still alive and well. Just off to the solicitors now to ensure daughter no2 who pulled the beer does not benefit from my will and will have no need to try to poison me again in the future.

Co2 leak anywhere??? Although if that was the case I doubt you'd be posting!!! You'l just have to stop smoking the ganja!!!
