I doubt it, but I wouldn't have known to look for a horsebox, folk could have passed it in the opposite direction with the plate showing.

Argyll and Bute are getting new vans with a wide angle semi circular dome "rabbits eye" on the side of the van, gets the front, side and rear of the bike as it passes.

Wait a minute, I'm not farmiliar with this road but is it a dual carriage way? as the astra is in the right hand lane. if so, I believe the highway code says at no point are you allowed to pull over unless in an allocated parking area or if it is an emergency!

Single carriageway unfortunately. My guess is the Astra is overtaking someone, and as such, likely just got done for it.
