Default Which tyres?

never had to buy tyre's for any of my bikes before sooooo i have some questions.

what is the likelihood of me getting BT020's fitted to my SV before Sunday? i.e. are sv tyres a common size??

will i be ok doing a long and potentially fast motorway journey literally 60 miles after they're fitted?

and finally roughly how much? i was thinking £180-£200??

Why 020s - they are quite an old tyre these days.

Micheldever tyres will be able to sort you out.

PS - do your lights keep flickering at home?

If you want a good grippy tyre thats good in wet, damp or dry go for the Dunlop D208RRs or Qualifier RRs if you can get them in 160 rears.

I ran 208RRs in a race a few weeks ago on damp track and they were superb. No idea what mileage you'll get out of them but for £160 they were a bargain.

thought they where good tyre's what would be better

yes was going to go to micheldever or cox's in boyattwood, going to micheldever will most likely end up with me taking my wheels off and getting my dad to drop them off there as he works down the road from them.

and no my lights arnt flickering, had this problem a few weeks ago but its all stopped now

My only concern with RRs would be getting them up to heat on the road.......

Depends what you are looking for - grip/mileage. Lots of options and opinions in the tyre section

I have used Z6s on my SV1000 and SV650 - great all round tyre in all conditions. Last time I had a set put on the thou I only paid £165 ride in/out at Micheldever

+ 1 for Micheldever

020's are old technology now, good tyre, but theres loads of better ones available now.

seriously no problem. I ran them in freezing winds on a damp track with no problem. We only get a single lap to get race temperature in them, thats like 1.5 miles in the damp!

You'ld be just fine.
