Default so....i finally managed to crash my sv :-/

Luckily I have a few excuses...namely tires were very cold (less than a mile away from my house and it was about 21 degrees outside), there was a bit of sand and possibly some frost on the road, and i forgot to clean up some oil that had accumulated on the far edge of my rear tire on the left side from overzealous chain lubing last summer/fall....

Anyhow, the bikes alright other than a cracked front fender, and some scuffs on my frame slider...all I got out of it was a skinned knee...good thing I was wearing my gear

Sorry to hear that, we've all done it at some point.

No excuses for this though, it's not a fender, it's a mudguard. Bloody septics

Ooops, you won't want to do that again.

Wowee, you have an electric guitar strapped to each end of your bike, that's classy

Let's just hope he doesn't find out what you call frame sliders....

You forgot? The rest of summer, all through fall, winter comes and goes, spring buds hopefully into the air and all this time, you forgot?

The important thing is you're OK mate. Hope your skinned knee gets lots of sympathy from the Mrs!

Well I noticed the oil in late october or november...one of my last rides of the season...and this was only my third ride this year.

Sadly there is no mrs right now...we had a falling out of sorts, I've got my eye on a few birds tho

Yeah...we were still getting quite a bit of snow until recently...I was the first to ride in to work the day I crashed. Maine is right next to Canada so we get lots of snow most years...

If you don't call it a fender then why are there fender extenders for the sv650? I don't get you English ppl sometimes lol

I know how you feel !!! playing with my SV in the garage today it fell over !!!
No damage apart from very small mark on can and the crash bung.
Cant help thinking what could have got damaged and just after I had ordered a
Tail Tidy.
Won't do that again.

I think because it sort of goes with extender: fender extender sounds better than mudguard extender Especially if you dumb it down to fenda extenda
I thought a fender was a bumper anyway....................................

I'm welsh though so maybe thats the problem..
