I've just been invited to my first school reunion

In the light of the wedding thread, I figured I'd steal the title (apologies, but it was too tempting - I haven't only just been invited, but hey, the title works ).

I'm looking forward to it really, seeing what people have been up to etc, seeing how much folks have changed.

Anyone on the .Org have any stories from their school reunions that they would care to share (partly so I know what I'm letting myself in for)?

EDIT: Before anyone accuses me of it, no, I'm not running away from LP & his big stick. Honest.

So what are you going to go as? Doctor? Astronaut? Barrister? Prime Minister? Succesful entrepreneur millionaire? Professional sportsman?

honestly i think you should hire some tall leggy blonde maybe even a porsche or ferrari for the night. and just tell everyone how less fortunate than you they all are!

failing that dont bother going. if the people were worth speaking to, then you wouldnt have stopped talking to them in the first place and they'd still be mates and know exactly how you are!

Its a fact that 75% of people at school reunions completely bullcrap about what they are doing and what they have been upto quite sad to be fair.

But see, I'd personally find that hilarious.

That's why I fully intend on rocking up on the bike & parking in the playground (not the car park). Then spending the evening in my bike gear. It could only be made better IMO if I were to have a couple of beers (which I can't as I'll be riding ).

I live over two hundred miles away from where I went to school and I wish it was more No desire to meet anyone from 30 years ago.

Light heartedly it would be funny, hell turning up in full leathers would be amusing.

Hiring a ferrari and trying to make out you a top banker or something equally rediculous that your obviously not......top ****** more like lol
