Isnt that the Chinese one? Red flag and all that? Or maybe Russian?

Edit: Found it. The Socialist anthem.

You forgot this,the second verse:

Look round, the Frenchman loves its blaze,
The sturdy German chants its praise,
In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung,
Chicago swells the surging throng.

Depends wether you're an English Socialist I guess.

Not my cup of tea though! And the last verse is a bit 'dark'!

Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood. Gives me chill bumps every time I hear it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_82SPkrB-SE

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

Er...sorry... I like the USA and I like country music OK but....
I think I would absolutely puke if I was forced to listen to "Proud to be an American" again... even once.

Not from there...but I've always liked Scotland's National Anthem.(Scotland The Brave) (do have ancestors from there)
And not just because I like to the pipes a playin'....(although I do love that)
The best variation is...Dropkick Murphys' version called "Cadence to Arms"

Not everyone has a national anthem you can rock to.....
..... Yah!!!

But then I'm a musician....and feeling patriotic is much less important to me in a song than the fact of whether or not it's good music.
(although IMHO it's hard to be inspired to patriotism or anything else by bad music)

If I were Scottish, this would get my vote. I was there....

Flower of Scotland is also a great anthem, we had a great 'sing off' against the Scots at this year's Six Nations game. We won of course (and the game )

Potential h-bomb

God save the Queen
She ain't no human being
There's no future
In England's dreaming

God save the Queen
We mean it man
We love our Queen
God saves

No future, No future, No future for you
