This one could easily turn that way.

Well about £1k really as I need to give my mum back some money she lent me to rescue me from the 'writing the car off' crisis, she hasn't asked for it, but I hate owing it to her as my sister has borrowed money in the past and not given it back. So I would like to give her a decent whack back, she was good enough to lend it to me which really got me out of a situation. Starting to derail my own thread here.

I have however seen the Suzuki are offering 0% finance and £400 cash backon DRZ-sm at the moment and Sturdey's are offering a free lowering kit. So that could very well be a solution to my short-term issue. Although I hate finance!

Arghhhhhh!

What about a Yamaha thundercat, they go for pennies now and are good bikes.

Spoke to sturdeys about the DRZ but they don't have a demo bike and I wouldn't want to buy one without having a try first. The 0% deal would get me out of the current situation pending an insurance pay out on the car.

A couple have been past me this morning and the upright driving position might also help my bad back, although the SV has never really bothered it.
