Humans are really no problem, and many human remains have been found inside old dead snakes.

Snakes are awesome, all animals, reptiles are. Humans are the problem.

Thats fight i'd have like to have seen. Theres a good fight of a Cheetah or something similar fighting a snake. The snake looses.....

The width of the human shoulders isn't the issue, its the abruptness. Although the snake can unhinge its jaws, it doesn't have muscles that can actively open its mouth to that kind of width. It can get there by slowly sliding and swallowing larger and larger. So from the feet up, if feet were together, it could manage it, but that is why it got to the head of that person and couldn't expand over the shoulders.

Was on channel 5 last week
, turns out alligator was dead and python was greedy and tried to eat it-it got stuck so python tried to break it down with its stomach acid-this failed and as the days went on-the alligator swelled with gas and BOOM!!

I believe so, it's going to be far easier swallowing something in one piece as opposed to having bits of bone sticking out

Children more so than adults then, a full sized fella with big brawny shoulders is gonna be decidedly less attractive to the snake - if it has any sense of course and didn't let its stomach rule over its brain
