Half the lights are red, half amber. Seems like a good idea and it would look neat. |

you do know they aren't legal, don't you ?, they've been around a while, perhaps as an addition to the normal ones, but they really aren't good enough in bright daylight.
Cheers Mark.

I had them, but I then very quickly removed them. Not only are they illegal but the brake lights and the indicator elements just aren't bright enough.
IMHO, I think in terms of safety, the look just doesn't outweigh the asthetic appeal.

Also you cant have them as an addition - only one indicator to a side at the read (although you could maybe arge that as the integrated ones are not far enouhg apart to be legally considered indicators that thay are not indicators but decorative - however you then run afoul of the construcrion and use regs as to what you can and cant do with lights on a bike.......) I followed someone round Elephant and Castle with just the integrated ones once - and I didnt have the 1st clue if he was breaking, indicating or what.....

Illegal, and not easily visible (especially at night).

I have mini indicators on the rear, but they never last very long at all, wires break or the rubber rots. But i hate the look of the standard ones, which I can't refit now as I butchered that section off completely.
Suggestions? Was considering the flush mount ones into the fairing but I'm not sure if they are legal? Plus, with the fairing being so curved, doubt they will fit right. |
