Somebody else's turn to organise---------I've done it on previous occasions with varying degrees of sucess so I leave it in your capable hands, with one proviso, cheap accommodation on hand for those who want a drink
Yes I will go providing the meal is not to expensive as Xmas is an costly time of the year for me Last edited by Dicky Ticker; 13-11-09 at 10:20 AM. |

Sorry Mac, but IMO "cheap accommodation on hand" really does restrict the number of suitable places doesn't it ? Wouldn't 'good public transport available' suffice ?

Ok well let's start listing ideas,
so far we have a curry. Cheap Mac are you talking about a £5-6 pub meal or would you be ok with a restaurant? I'm not fussed about food, I'll eat pretty much anything, its more the attendance of as many esser orgers as possible (and any others than may want to join us) |

I would prefer a more traditional meal if you are talking restaurant.
A pub with a decent restaurant perhaps would be more to my liking. Not necessarily for Xmas meal ,just a decent menu, something for everybody, then you can stay in the one place for the whole evening Curry House,Indian or Chinese are limiting in food choice and are more purely for eating a type of food, being pricey and limited on the beverage side of things I suppose you could have an early meal in one of the above and retire to a pub for the rest of the evening. Just my thoughts for who so ever would be organising. |
