Roadsure
21 y o. 2 Ncd. 1 year license. k4 naked restricted (thought they don't actually take that into consideration). Garaged. EH4. No security on bike. 3000 miles annual mileage. £385 with £200 excess and can ride any bike ![]() Out of interest , how can they tell how far you are going to actually go in a year when they don't take a starting mileage? You are paying so much because you are now in a higher risk age group than me. Ha. |

i pay 173 quid fully comp from equity red star - prior to that i was with motorcycle direct who were too expensive this year.. the cheapest policies for MCD seem to come from AXA insurance who have put the prices up. it was always strange to me that they were about 500 quid cheaper than every one else!

£1300 TPF&T
19 SV650SK3 2yrs NCB (wrote a car off) restricted t 33bhp lots of modifications to bike (dunno if there all declared though) I know the end can is. I was told that restricting the bike to 33BHP was classed as a performance modification therefore bumps up the price!!! ![]() SPeeeeDY |

![]() The most I paid was £1200 for fully comp on my first bike, a brand new GPZ500s restricted and not kept in a garage with no NCB. Currently £180 TPFT with £150 xs, 25, 3 years NCB, no points (at the mo fingers crossed), garaged and alarmed fairly near the centre of Brum. Best quote Yamaha insurance!? Although the cheeky buggers sent me a renewal of near £400 so when I phoned them back to say I had better quotes around £200 they put me on hold for a while and then offered me £180. |

I am quite fortunate on mine by the looks of things. £90 TPFT, 8k mileage policy and commuting (main use of the bike).
The bike is garaged, has a tacham (not sure of category) alarm, is Alphadot marked, and (either fortunately, or unfortunately) isn't worth 'a lot'. I am 27, with one fault and one non fault accident (neither on a bike policy) |
