Work signage help needed
Here's a challenge.
I've been asked to sort a sign at work that lists the long suffering employees. It's quite a long list. The top of the sign needs some blurb to congratulate staff for their long service. I've asked the #marketing team for some #words, but I'm not impressed with their suggestions. (I know I'm not currently impressed by any marketing people who have to #randomly use Twitter speak). The offer from them sounded like a war memorial, I told them it sounded too much like a well known poem about the #lightbrigade @balaclava. So, great ORGers, can we come up with something appropriate for a sincere, but congratulatory, sign for a business reception area? |

Re: Work signage help needed
What you need is Mr Tourette, master sign writer! This was the only one I could find that didn't break the U rating.

Re: Work signage help needed
I'm the H&S officer at work and we bypass our marketing people entirely when it comes to the majority of signage, I find the office staff themselves tend to come up with better ideas than marketing folk and its then in their language and it's their sign in effect.
Once a design and slogan has been decided we use this place: http://www.diginate.com/ where you can desing you own custom signs, I think they are all sticky backed though but would could mount it on a board? Just an idea? |

Work signage help needed
They're rubbish marketing people if they're still using words.
Don't they know infographs are where it's at? If you can't reduce a complicated concept down to a 5 year old's drawing then it's not worth talking to marketing about it these days. |

Work signage help needed
I love your idea Mr Preston!
With the collection of names we have I'm sure I can spell something somewhere! I'm working the weekend, so I get some peace to think it through. |
