Don't they want blood???

The crtiteria seem to be getting stricter all the time, no wonder so many people don't bother as it's a bit embarrassing when you walk out without having donated.

I cant give blood because im a wuss and hate needles.

I just gave blood so feeling v smug now.

I don't like it at all. I'm v squeamish about my own blood and the whole needle vein thing. Yuck. Makes me feel queasy just thinking about it.

They don't tell you though, until you get all the way through the questions, that you have to weigh over 7 stone 12 to donate blood. So even if I hadn't had tattoo's and piercings I still can't give blood

I get sent home when I went last week because my filling had cracked that afternoon and apparently they couldn't take blood until at least 7 days after it had re-filled and fixed. Won't be able to do next donation so they'll have to wait until 20th December now.

Anyone else a serial fainter? I am and flattened the poor nurse last time

Only once, threw my tea all over my self and my biscuits ended up as crumbs on the floor to
