I dont use blackboard, I'm not even on the Bb system for the modules, such is the messing about the early easter has caused with the Administration of the whole uni.

Embee, if only they would send that, my problems would be solved

Welsh - I'm going to use it to prime my polycarbonate surfaces, to allow better adhesion of silica nanoparticles to the surface. That'll form a microscopically rough surface, and then I can use some perfluorooctyldimethylchlorosilane to make a low-energy surface. Think teflon, but better, and hopefully quite transparent aswell.

Aye, that's probably quite irritating, Rantor the Rantnificent.

I had similar issues getting furniture delivered not long ago.

With any luck it won't scar you forever.

Quite the opposite

So far, its working - I've got some promising results. I need the HDMS to see if I can improve the coating.

Still waiting...

Matt, thats a poor showing, but it's probably down to your uni's account. Most stuff we order gets there within a few days, but thats only if we already have an account with the supplier and so they dispatch it essentially before we've paid for it. Maybe in your case it was a strange new supplier and so they invoice your uni first before sending it?
