Our garage and conservatory leaked like a sieve all day yesterday- they're both watertight but the water gets into the walls of the house above them

well I woke up to im Indoors pounding on my front door this morning, on his way back to his house from work....the SRX exhaust had tried to drop off!!! he had hung it precariously with a bit of string...lol...he pointed out one of my slates had fallen off my roof, the front door seal has gone and flooded my stairwell carpet....but the front window has stopped leaking for now. I've sealed up the front door threshold( I hope) and will attempt to get up the ladder and have a look at the top of the window tomorrow when its less windy

grrrrrrrr

The wind is whistling through my double-glazed windows, tis blowing a gale out there gotta love living on the sea front I've had to duct tape/cellotape up the gaps in the window! I had rain leaking in before but will do for now, landlady a tad useless. Duct tape is a wondrous thing

How about laying a couple of teatowels underneath the dripping to muffle the sound?

check your buildings insurance. I claimed a few years ago but was told because it was a flat roof it was not covered.
