Keep forgetting me keys

Not in public yet, but I have spent a few mornings in the past looking all over the house for the keys only to find they are in the ignition. Thank god I have a secure garage.

Ahh, leaving the ignition key hanging out the seat lock - now thats a whole new story. Guilty!

I blame the stress of my wife due to drop our 2nd any day now but for the last 3 mornings if I have remembered my keys I've left my helmet perched upon the seat in the office carpark.

I only have my keys with me this morning because I read this thread before getting on with any real work and nipped out to recover them!

Its a long lonely walk once/if I remember...

Oh yes. My husband has also often opened the garage, with his bike keys, then left the door open with both sets of bike keys in the garage door lock.

Put your housekey on with your bike key and when you can't get in the house in the p'ing rain you might remember why. When you've scratched all the paint off the top yokes with it flying around at speed don't blame me though....

+1 for the lanyard. Empty lanyard round your neck = problem.
