I don't find it difficult to control my swearing in front of kids, after adding up my kid's ages I have 75 years of parenting behind me, and never used one 4-letter word within earshot of any of them - they are subjected to a steady stream of lower level expeltives though, in fact my son was convinced his name was '8uggerlugs' for years.

There are exceptions I am sure, but looking round the streets, you don't get no-fiker' than a Pompy kid!!

I'll tell you where I went AFTER I have been there But it is NOT in Portsmoof ... there is no way I'd go to a school in Portsmouth this one is one of the better ones in the area (supposedly) but ~10 miles form Pompy

Oh and I was told by the ladies today (in exact words) I was "Highly desirable"* ... and where I filled the form in at reception, "better looking than who we normally have on there" ...

From those two remarks (and it is me we are talking about here, not Brad Pit), there blatantly hasn't been enough adult c0ck at that school for a long while!!

Hopefully I can capitalise on that drought in the way only a good honest male can!!

*I guessed in relation to males in shortage as teachers, but I detected a bit of shameless flirting in the tone!!

I once heard a really cool response to the following statement:-

"Swearing is a sign of a small vocabulary" ...

What a great put-down I thought ... that'll shut them up

But the response was this ..

"I bet I know more swear words than you ... " ... classic!!

Haha that word brings back memories, I was once given detention by a dinnerlady at secondary school for using it when referring to a mate, the silly woman was convinced it was a disgusting swearword but I know there are much worse ones . I'm afraid I laughed at her ...probably why I got the DT.

After five years working in a middle school it's no wonder I still find words like 'poo' and 'wee' funny...
