Quiff, on your desktop can you do this for me :
Click on start, then click run, type in CMD and press return You should get a black box with white text come up, in that black box type in ipconfig and hit return. It should come back with something like 192.168.0.1 can you tell me what that number is ? and then I'll tell you what to try next.

Diagnostically, then, internet connection is working, modem is working, wireless card in PC is working, therefore must be settings. Get on what fizzwheel said
