Work Had yesterday off, was on the IAM stand at Minsterley show all morning and what did the weather do, ****ed down all the time, as soon as i went at lunch time the weather cleared up a bit. Why is the weather always better when i am working? please let me know . This bodes really well for the Marches meander next Sunday, pack your waterproofs everyone. You now know who to blame.

fitted motosliders to my bike yesterday, and a new number plate (with drew's help of course) and then had a motorbike lesson today..... excellent weekend!!!!!!!

I didn't know it was Minsterley show, still less that the IAM had a stand there. Did you get many takers??

Mike, sorry i didn't call!! I will next time, I s'll be going that way again soon, if only for the FANTASTIC road (great twisty bits, esp on the way down) across the Berwyn Mountains. One scary bit, going over the cattle grid. It was very wet - heavy rain just stopped - and the grid was v v slippy. Rear wheel lost grip - silly me should have rolled off the throttle a bit - when it found the tarmac again it was an interesting experience

This afternoon I took Sophie swimming. I couldn't get her out the pool. Two and a bit hours in the water

went to leicester airfield and watched my son take a flying lesson that he won with the air scouts

Went a grand total of 15 miles on the bike to fill her up, then played at the roundabouts on hte way home. The police volvo was on my tail for the last couple of miles before it turned off at a junction. I was worried for my Viper can

Went to Newbury to visit Big Ape on Saturday on my way to a nights camping with some friends to celebrate a birthday.

Then back home again.
