Nah... a Curvy frame is well up to the job, it is an excellent frame.

No surprise the SV isn't changing again, shame as the bike is so ugly in its current form.

Probably not, I am surprised that it never became an official accessory either.

Both frames are probably upto the job. I was mostly meaning in its rake and trail etc. Make the thing steer a little more spoty...

Easy enough to do by jacking the back end up a bit.

Curvy frame is excellent, pointy one does it almost as well just cheaper.

Oh I know about that fix... my current bike will be having that mod to make it steer quicker.

It's not so much a fix as an adjustment, there's loads of stuff you can do to that end, adjustable yokes, raise forks, different tyre profiles.

It was a part of a bike group that didn't seem to do too well, the sporty tourer, SV1000, firestorm, Falco, SS900 etc. (though its more a comfy sports bike). People tend to just go for the Tourer or the sports bike. I guess people always want the biggest numbers and the biggest names. Maybe its a bragging thing?
That's a pity because they're a really good class of bikes - sporty and practical. Though the VFR really falls into this category too (even though it's a v4, not a v2) and that's not exactly unpopular.

Aye I have dropped the Yokes (raised the forks) about 20mm which helped a little. I think ill be putting the back up 25mm as well (why is the bike so badly setup out of factory!?). Ill have to change the fork springs too as they are the wrong damn rate for my small ****.

lol a little off of subject woops. I always do this sigh.

Id say the VFR is more tourer than sporty, not by much but id say my bike is much more sporty than one. Good bike, just a little heavy
