Agree about Slumdog Millionnaire, very good film.
I rather enjoyed Benjamin Button as well - sure, it's quite slow but it's very well made and it's an interesting conceit. Biggest surprise for me of late, filmwise, was You Don't Mess With The Zohan. I was expecting a complete turkey but it was genuinely funny with moments of pure genius.
