Acetone. You need to dissolve the plastic off, not scrub it off.
Titanium is grey in colour and usually matte.(difficult to get titanium shiny) Stainelss is silver. Cheers, carl |

If you have a scratch finish end can Id use scotch brite. The same stuff as for cleaning pans. I say that as my 97 blade came with a pad of it for that purpose. A stainless can is also normaly heavier than titanium.

place a magnet on the metal work and if it sticks it is not titanium, i think titanium is non-magnetic as this is how they used to test at wsb screening.
