Its all about gender testing this year

yeah they do get bonus' every time they break a world record! he got $100k for the 100m I think. and yes it is well known they usually do as little as possible to break the records. there was a chick in the pole vaulting who used to beat the record by 1cm at evey major event. to try and string out a few bonus payments!

the drugs thing is a difficult debate. I like to think that the people using banned substances is in the minority. but top athletes do have access to the best doctors/ physios / backup staff, obv this has some advantage. this will lead to better training programmes and prob better results.

it'll be interesting to see the outcome of the gender test tho, 'she' certainly has no female traits in her appearance. we actually ccommented on how masculine she looked when I seen her run the heats!

The girl boy thing is a helluva tricky thing. Dependent upon which study you believe the proportion of people who are "in between" can be between 1 in 1000 and 1 in 20,000 - either way a lot of people.
