In a word, no. But bypass the clutchswithc if it makes you feel any safer when doing it.
I went thru a phase of daily bump starting my curvy and there is an art to it, even in the rain.

Clutch switch only stops the starter button working. As you're not using the starter motor at all, it works fine.

Last time i bumped my bike, I has a long but not really steep enough hill. Best gear for it was 4th.

At work i can bump any of the IL4's we have, i dont even have to sit on them, just run along side second gear and dump clutch and they start, how ever i have never manged to bump start my sv, which was a pian earlier... luckily i had a spare battery so i jumped it off that instead
