Best game I've seen! and I've watched a few! I also loved the way there wasn't a single car, bus or any other vehicle on any of the roads on the outside shots. Vancouver was deserted as everyone watched the game!

I'm not sure what the official definition is that divides the two, but for me it's always been the atheltics -ie golf, darts, curling, snooker etc are games. Football (both types), hockey, rugby and so on are sports. Baseball is somewhere in the grey area...

I couldn't say for sure, but I would not be suprised if they had cordoned off the city to traffic for the game. The police have been given some extra (and rather controversial) powers for the games.

EDIT -just checked with a friend at home who is fairly certain that they blocked traffic in the city.

I think most streets in the whole of Canada were deserted, I know they were in Calgary, everyone was either at home or in the bars watching it.
The Red Mile here was like a carnival this evening though!
