That's right. Its called compensation. Like when you have one leg shorter than the other; the other one is longer to compensate

Knew a one-legged biker called Ginger in Johannesburg in the late 70's. He went over the bonnet of a little old ladies car who pulled out in the city without warning. She was really upset, got out of the car and checked to see if Ginger was OK.
"Yeah - I'll get up if you just go over there and get my leg" he said.
Old lady said nothing. She just fainted straight away.
