Vertical suits the 'street' look of your bike. In that position the clocks dont 'stand out' so much as they sorta blend with the lights better. Me likey.

Horizontal, but split 'em & put so centres are level with bottom of top yoke.

6 for vertical and 6 for horizontal
 I think I prefer vertical for the same reasons as Amplimator. It fills the gap under the clocks and it should look quite neat with nothing mounted on the forks. |

Wont you have a narrower field of view with them vertical, ie not as wide a fan of light?

No way, these things are ridiculously bright. I could just have one and it would still be 20 times brighter than the dominators. And the beam pattern is perfect
