Servicing costs.

Its simply down to labour rates, no 2 dealers would charge the same as they dont pay the same rent, wages etc. Workshop charges are set by the businesses overheads and what the minimum is they have to charge to break even or run a viable business

Just asking but... If you knew you'd be doing that sort of mileage how come you didn't plan the service ahead? When I bought my SV I booked it in for it's first service before I left the showroom.

Thats the thing I didnt know I was going to do them sort of miles! The bike should have been kept in its slumber this week and next so I could have sorted it but the missis buggered off to the coast in the car with the kids...

And I've got a short term contract working which only appeared 2 weeks ago for 3 weeks work... (of which I'm a week into!)

One of them things, that it happened at the same time!
