I miss mine
![]() But if you get the R one you can set the suspension up to be like the standard one if you find it too hard. |

this may be true but i have done thousands of miles on naked bikes and i know how tireing it can be,and the differance a fairing can make on a long run, and if it is raining and you can get up to say 70mph you can sometimes keep most of the weather of you

Don't agree, I've done plenty of miles on a naked and with a good screen you hardly notice the wind, yes a faired bike is better but we don't ride for practicality do we?

Had my Triple R for 7 weeks now.
3rd week went up to GM - 450 miles on first day - neck SLIGHTLY aching. Now on 2000 miles & neck standing up much better - if you give up & say it hurts, you'll never build the stamina. By the same token the naked SV would be unusable, as would the same company's GT380! As hardhat_harry says - you can always soften the 'R' and that may be one of the things to do with the type of roads I prefer. Either way, good luck in your quest.

Street Triple with the small airblade screen is good for over 100 mph without an issue

R with the Triumph screen has a sweet spot around 110 where it all goes quiet so I'm told...a good indication that you're travelling too fast.
As for fatigue and nakeds...Nah, if that's the case, sommats wrong with you or your doing something wrong (body postion/gripping) easily manage 4/5 hours without any issues at interesting speeds...other than a dodgy left wrist.

Slight derail.
Are faired bikes teally all that good for wind blast? specifically wind noise on the helmet. ive seen some moan it just focuses a blast of air towards the helmet unless you lie on the tank. I have never ridden one myself, ive tried screens on my sv x, and they all seem to make things worse. |
