Depends how rough the area you're parking up in is, but with the pillion seat or cowl locked back in place the helmet can't be removed, or not without cutting the chin strap in which case the helmet would be facked anyway

I done it loads with mine.. NB it'll seem a right fit & needs a waggle of your helmet to lock it in place with the seat (ooh errr)
