Will do, shame about the drz selling though, you never got chance to enjoy it properly.

Best small van I've driven has to be the connect by far its like driving a car and not very drummy inside if you have the bulkhead in. If you think French cars are bad wait until you own a French van.

Vauxhalls are a bit meh, I'm looking at buying a vivaro but all I ever hear is bad things about them, but also I hear the newer Turkish made transits are crap, the connect is still made over here until next year when the factory shuts

What year connect and mileage should I be looking at for £1400/1500
What size? Or are they all 1.8 diesel?

And shame I didn't use the drz properly I know but I haven't the time to go out searching for lanes

Why you looking at this new fancy stuff? There's loads of complicated bollox on them that goes wrong all the time.

Re, french/itie stuff I would consider an older XUD engine'd one as they were a decent engine.

I should know I've spent the last two days trying to get around in a POS scudo flying turd that's decided it's not environmentally friendly to rev past 3000rpm any more.
B*stard thing.

Oh and it's also about the same length as my vito but with a yard or so less load space for no tangible reason. Horrible thing.

My work uses combo 1.3 vans and they are good but then they r changed every 3 years. Quite nippy for engine size but under powered when loaded near limit
+1 ace.
Learn how to weld.

Not sure insurance will be good though.

Same with vito, I think mine is great and ace engine but not the most rot proof and they're getting on a bit now.

dont even bother looking at a diesel connect with 140k on it (1.6 or bigger that is)unless you dont mind forking out up to a grand for injectors or a recon pump, that is unless you know these have been replaced recently, the common rail injectors normally play up at 100k(over fueling)and if left to long will crack a piston,if fitted with a petrol duratec engine(made after 2004 as they tended to eat the inlet swirl butterfly thingyies)then it will go on almost forever if you change the oil regularly
